"We definitely have worked to improve our paid-link and junk link detection algorithms. In our most recent PageRank update (9/27/2008) for example, there are some differences in PageRank because we've improved how we treat links, for example."
"Definitely an update. Keywords in URL is important, everyday more....""Saw a jump from #9 to #4 for one of my main key phrases.""I knew it...I was just starting to come back after being down 30% for almost 3 months."

We saw a page rank jump on a couple new sites that we've had online for about 2 months. We went from 0 to 4 on just about all pages of each site. Then, the ranking on everything went back to 0! Then 4, then 0....Something definately going on. A check through iwebtools page rank check shows mixed results from varios Google datacenters. Maybe they are working out bugs yet?
my par goes from 2 to one and back...may have to do with me canceling Yahoo site I had.
