Yahoo! Weather Report - Search Index Update

A weather report came through yesterday via the Yahoo! Search blog (www.ysearchblog.com) warning of a new index update that was rolled out last night.

According to the post by Priyank Gark, Yahoo! Search's product manager:

"Welcome to our first weather report of the fall season. We are rolling out an index update tonight. As usual, you'll see some changes in ranking along with shuffling of the pages that are included in the index."

Minimal forum and blog buzz suggests not much has happened at this stage, but stay tuned as more people wake to assess the results of the search index update. To find out what other Yahoo! Search users are saying about the update, visit the Site Explorer forum.
