Search Marketing Goes Mainstream

You well and truly know that search marketing has established itself for good when major newspapers start covering the figureheads of the industry.

Yesterday, USA Today ran a long piece on Danny Sullivan, how he got into SEO and how he manages to be at the center of the search industry even though he lives on the other side of the Atlantic (he actually lives and works in a small village in the Southwest of England).

They also covered his involvement in Search Engine Watch and the Search Engine Strategies conferences. The article makes for good reading and gives you a glimpse of Danny's private side too - click on the link to read the full USA Today article "Got a search engine question? Ask Mr. Sullivan".

You probably know that the next Search Engine Strategies Conference is only days away - from August 7-10, San Jose will be the place where the search marketing universe meets. If you are attending the conference, I hope you get a chance to say hi to our CEO Jackie Shervington and COO Warren Duff, who'll also be there. We hope that they'll have time to post a few conference reports straight onto our blog, so watch this space.
