No More Yahoo! Sponsored Search Listings on MSN
As of 30 June 2006, the distribution agreement between MSN and Yahoo! Search Marketing for the U.S. market has come to an end.
MSN officially launched its own search advertising program, Microsoft adCenter, in the United States in early May and has predominantly been displaying its own adCenter sponsored listings since then. From now on, Yahoo!'s Sponsored Search listings will no longer be displayed in
MSN
in the U.S. at all, but MSN will continue to display Yahoo!'s Content Match listings in the U.S.. Outside the U.S., Yahoo!'s Sponsored Search listings will also continue to be displayed on MSN.
Yahoo! commented on this event as follows: "Although we regret the loss of MSN as a distribution partner, it was not unexpected, and we do not anticipate a significant change in the total amount of traffic to our advertisers as a result."
New! M-Boost: Get into MSN within 7 days or get a full refund. Only $19.95!
