Google Plays Cupid


Google's latest beta release sees the search giant playing cupid online via Google Romance. For most of us, any search, whether it is for new products, or the latest news and gossip, is started at Google. So could Google actually solve the world's greatest search challenge?

"When you think about it, love is just another search problem. And we've thought about it. A lot. Google Romance(TM) is our solution." the new Google site states.

The basis of the new service is a cutting edge personal search algorithm which psycho-graphically matches you to your perfect soul mate/s. Google then offers suitable matches with a free date, which is held in the romantic surrounds of contextual advertising. Google's partners believe the contextual ads are sure to get you results on your date.

So if you're looking for love - could Google Romance be the answer?

Well seriously, if you think it is - you're looking for love in all the wrong places. Google Romance was just an elaborate April Fool's Joke by the search engine giant.
