Clay Cook
Executive Director & Founder
Clay founded ineedhits in October 1996 (originally under the name of Business Web). Clay has been instrumental in growing the company to its current position as a search engine marketing company that provides solutions to hundreds of thousands of website owners worldwide.
No longer involved in the day to day operations, Clay still takes a keen interest in the strategic direction and performance of the company and resides on the Advisory Board. A proud member of Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Clay has been recognized with personal awards such as 40Under40 winner (Western Australia - 2004), and twice finalists in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award (Western Australia - 2002 & 2003).
Clay has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Western Australia (UWA).

Rachel Cook
Co-Owner
Rachel Cook joined ineedhits in 1999, shortly after the business had been established by her partner Clay Cook.
In that time, Rachel has been instrumental in the growth of the company and held a range of positions, including COO, CTO, Co-CEO, Executive Director, Chairwoman of the Board and Non-executive Director.
No longer involved in the day to day operations, Rachel resides on the Board of Directors. A proud member of Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Rachel has been recognized with personal awards such as 40Under40 winner (Western Australia - 2004), and twice finalists in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award (Western Australia - 2002 & 2003).
Rachel has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Curtin University (Western Australia).

Matthew Macfarlane

Matthew has worked in over 20 countries over the past 17 years with a focus on mergers and acquisitions in the telecoms field. He has worked at companies such as PwC Consulting, Swisscom, Deutsche Telecom and Equant. Matthew is the CFO and co-founder of Minti, a virtual parenting community with the mission of creating "the world's largest parent to parent advice-opedia".

Jackie Shervington
Business Adviser
Jackie was the CEO of ineedhits for 4 years and has since joined the ineedhits Advisory Board in August 2008. Jackie has 20 years experience in business development and marketing. Her career began in direct marketing, working for large corporations such as; Microsoft Australia, WCRS/dma (UK) and leading Australian banks (Westpac & Bank West). She has been recognized by the Australian direct marketing industry, winning the Australian Young Direct Marketer of the Year in 1997.

Alan Thomas
Financial Adviser
Alan Thomas is the Managing Director of Hayes Knight (WA) Pty Ltd. He has been a director since 1995, and has over 20 years experience in the accounting field, predominantly in public practice. Alan specializes in two main areas: corporate taxation and financial & business management. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Curtin University, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, member of CPA Australia and fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
